Saturday, July 1, 2023. The KID5K has become a summer holiday tradition in our community. This year will be the 40th rendition of this event and proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Blue Ridge for the fifth straight year as we work to support this amazing organization. We salute Better Living Inc. for stepping up in a most generous way as a signature sponsor of this event for the seventeenth straight year.
The race will start/finish on the grounds of the Lakeside (formerly Sutherland) Middle and Hollymead Elementary School campuses on Saturday, July 1, 2023. The course will be the traditional one through Forest Lakes subdivision.
